Liz Goldwyn gives MAC a brush of vintage glam
It came down to thinking about how to update yet retain a 1950s boudoir sensibility,” says documentary filmmaker Liz Goldwyn of teaming up with MAC to design a glamorous limited-edition holiday collection of cosmetics bags, called Fabulousness.
The former Sotheby’s fashion curator and talent scout for Vogue pulled from her own closet to inspire the right blend of nets and laces. Channeling an Ava Gardner type of woman, the travel-friendly brush and makeup bags, for example, have “a good girl/bad girl duality. They look delicate, but they’re very durable.”
